| The first time I met with H.H. Dalai Lama was in Copenhagen 1973, and the last time was also in Copenhagen in 2003 - 30 years later! The visit in 1973 was an informal one with almost no security as we see it today, so that we could meet and talk more freely in a relaxed manner. He had some difficulties obtaining a visa, and when he finally came here, he consecrated the first Kagyu Center in Denmark. I remember this time as a very joyful and inspiring period! The reason that there are no photos of my own is, that I did not get permission from the organizers here in Denmark to take any at the last two visits in the year 2000 and 2003.
